Causes of Low Academic Achievement in Mathematics and Approaches to Addressing It

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the causes of poor academic achievement in mathematics, a core subject that plays a crucial role in developing critical and analytical thinking skills among learners. The research also sought to present diverse approaches to addressing this problem. Several previous studies were reviewed, and their findings were utilized to propose strategies for reducing low achievement in mathematics, given its negative impact on both individuals and society.
