Abstract

This research seeks to explore relational capital, specifically focusing on customer capital, and its influence on knowledge management among a selected group of faculty members and administrative personnel at the Higher Institute of Marine Technology - Sabratha. To fulfill the study's objectives, a questionnaire containing 25 items was utilized as the main method for data gathering. The questionnaire was distributed to a convenience sample of 32 participants. Descriptive statistical analysis was applied to evaluate the data. The findings indicated a high level of relational capital at the Higher Institute of Marine Technology - Sabratha. Additionally, the results showed a significant level of knowledge management across its various dimensions. Regarding hypothesis testing, the findings showed a statistically significant positive effect of relational capital on knowledge management. Furthermore, the results indicated statistically significant differences in knowledge management attributed to the variable of job nature in favor of administrative staff, while no significant differences were found in relational capital based on this variable.
