This study was conducted in the Ain Burgo area (Jabal Al-Akhdar, Libya) over a period of 14 months (June 2023 – July 2024) with the aim of surveying and providing morphological descriptions of dragonfly nymphs belonging to the order Odonata, suborder Anisoptera. The results led to the identification and morphological characterization of three species of nymphs: Anax parthenope (Selys, 1839) from the family Aeshnidae, and Orthetrum coerulescens (Fabricius, 1798) and Trithemis arteriosa (Burmeister, 1839) from the family Libellulidae.
